Editing Video To Insert Quiz Slides

Hi ,

I just bought Captivate 2017, right now I am trying to insert quizzes into a video I already made. I have been experimenting with the edit timing functionality but cutting the slides with the markers is confusing. I got it once by fluke where  I inserted slide 1 marker , then slide 2, then slide 3 but cant recreate this again.

I pretty much figured out that to add the quizzes I must insert it as a slide between the video. What i need to know now is how to cut the video at a point of my choosing then put them into the appropriate slides.

Can someone help?

    Correct.  Captivate is not a video editing application.

    Each quiz slide can only be on a separate slide.

    So you will need to use a video editor to cut up your current video into multiple files, dividing them where you need to insert the quiz slides.  Then you can insert the video clips each on their own slide. That's the best way to achieve this.

      Thanks.  So by using  video editor you mean something separate from Captivate?
