Elements showing before fade in animation

Hello,

I am wanting some elements to fade it after a few seconds of the slide appearing.

I set an entrance animation of fade, add a delay of a few seconds, however when the slide enters, the element is immediately visible and after the delay, it does the fade animation.

This seems totally pointless and not an actual entrance animation? How do I get the element to hide before the entrance animation?

I vaguely remember there being a setting on Captivate Classic.

Thanks in advance!

You could try moving the animation in the timeline, instead of using the delay. But I've had some other issues with animations just loading instead of working as advertised.

There were workarounds for those in Captivate Classic, but I never did see a 'setting' to avoid this.

I used shared action where I did hide the element with the On Enter event, than applied a Delay command to apply the Show command a little bit later than the Entrance effect. In some situations applying a fade in transition solved the situation as well. All are lost in the new Captivate....
