How can I publish a responsive project as an executable file in Captivate 9?

When creating a blank project, I have the option to publish it as an EXE file. These are what we share with SMEs when reviewing projects. We have recently started using Captivate 9 and creating responsive projects since we are publishing for use on an iPad. However, it appears that we cannot publish it as a stand-alone file (exe) for SMEs when it is a responsive project. Is there something I am missing? If it's not possible, is there another way I can publish the project as a stand alone file to share with SMEs?

No, you should create an app in that case. EXE is not possible.

I've never published as an APP. Can it be accessed from a desktop/laptop, or is it only accessible on a tablet?

Apps are for mobile devices.  You'd need to create one for iOS devices and another for Androids.  Then you need to get them up on the App stores (Apple and Google) in order for people to download and view your content.

I think you're going to find all of that is waaaayyyy too much trouble just to get SMEs to review your project.
