How do I get the plus (+) key to work

Community Beginner ,

I am creating a quiz and I want the user to press the + button.  It works if they use the Shift = key combination but does not recognize the + key on the keypad.

Sorry to ask again, but can you give details? Which version are you using? Which type of quiz slide? Why has the learner to press + in a quiz slide? You can insert screenshots.

It will allow you to enter a + character in the TEB, But you cannot use the combination of Ctrl + = to act as a keyboard shortcut.

It could also be due to the keyboard itself: do you use a regular US keyboard or a different one? I know that in many situations I cannot use all keys on my AZERTY Belgian keyboard with Adobe applications. Numeric keypad is often excluded.
