How do I insert one of the SWF animations included in my installation's Adobe gallery folder?

How do I insert a SWF animation?  I am using Captivate 8, and when I select Media>Animation, I see options only for selecting a GIF animation.  None of the SWF files in the folder display at all.

I thought, from reading the Help files, I would be able to insert either kind of animation, GIS or SWF.

By the way, when I do a basic search on the Help site for how to add animation, the directions say to chose Insert>Animation, but this does NOT seem to be an option on the new Insert menu in Captivate 8.  Frustrating, as this was simple in previous versions of Captivate.  I just want to use the included animations (such as 2D arrows and flashing highlight boxes), not create my own.

This was explained to me in another thread.  Because I am using the responsive design mode, I need to use GIF animations only, in order to be able to publish the project in HTML5.  Only SWF animations are included in the gallery with my installation of Captivate 8, and these only operate in the older (Flash) versions of projects.

You asked this in another thread as well, please don't do that.

SWF animations are only possible in normal projects for SWF-output. Animated GIF's are possible for all projects and output. To insert them use the Big Button Media, Animation.

My apologies.  I am new to these discussion boards and was unsure whether the previous thread was still active.

That is OK, answered briefly. If you can post something in a thread, it

will appear on top (and falls in my mailbox).
