I'm using Adobe Captivate.  I need to have columns and/or a table on one page but not on another.  I'd also like to add a border but not to the first page.  Thank you for any help you can give me.

You can add several text captions, there is no 'columns' option as you have in a Desktop Publishing application however.

As for tables: there is a learning Interaction 'Table' or a widget. It depends on your version.

Border? I don't understand: if you add borders with the Skin editor it will be for all slides (no pages in Captivate). You can always insert a drawing object (line) and use that as a border, or even a rectangle object with transparent fill.

It looks like you are bit confused about goal of Captivate? It is an eLearning authoring tool, you create sort of a movie but with interactivity contrary to normal movies.  Maybe 'columns' or 'tables' or 'borders' is not really what you need, could you post an image of how it should look?
