How to change the look of an object if a certain slide has been visited?

Hello all,

I have a navigation or overview slide with different icons (=images) for the chapters of the training on it. How can I change the look of the icon when the user has visited a chapter and returns to the overview slide? So the users know, which chapter they have allready worked through?

I'm using Captivate 8.

Thank's a lot for any answers, I hope I could make myself clear.

Too bad that you are still on CP8, for CP9 this can be done with the new multistate feature. For CP8 you have to use Hide/Show for the images. I have published several blog posts for this work flow. Here is one about CP8:

Captivate 8 - First Adventures - Captivate blog

Sorry, forgot: look at the first movie, I call such a menu slide a 'dashboard'.

Many thanks for your quick response. I will have a look on your blog.
Unfortunately CP9 is not yet used in my company...

    Best regards
