How to create a login screen (linked with usernames/passwords)

I checked some forums but wasn't able to find out if this was possible:

Create a login screen in Captivate, linked to username/password combinations that I have entered before...

If possible, could you give me a hint on how to accomplish that?

All the best!

    Correct answer RodWard

The entry fields are Text Entry Boxes.  You set these to be Validated in the Properties tab and when you select the TEB on screen in Captivate, then a dialog box appears allowing you to enter any number of correct answers.  These correct answers are your allowed usernames or passwords.  However, the sticking point will be that you probably want a certain COMBINATION of username and password to be accepted as correct, right?  For that situation, you may need to validate the entered text using Conditional Advanced Actions.  It's a little more complex.

Oh, so if I'd just hand out passwords, that would be fine too... as long as I can find out who's got what amount of points... I just want to make sure people are doing the quiz one time...

I am using savsoft quiz at the moment, which is quite nice, but I've ran into some difficulties and malfunctions... I've heard wonderful things about captivate which would put my e-learning

usage on a whole new level I'll give that a try once I get back home, to be honest, if have just clicked around a little so I am not aware of all the things that nice little thing can do.

@Lilybiri: No, it's supposed to be a standalone thing at the moment...
