How to move a timeline object to the end using a keyboard shortcut?

I've found a way to slightly decrease the amount of time necessary to accomplish this.  It's still dragging the element, but you don't have to drag it all the way.

in my scenario, I'm adding a "Next" button to the end of the slide after the audio has played.  For long audio, that's a long time dragging.

1. Select the element row in the timeline.
2. Scroll the timeline all the way to the end.
3. Click on the time scale above the timeline to somewhere near the end (leave plenty of room for the duration of your element). 
4. Press CTRL+L - which is the shortcut to "Sync with Playhead" - moving the beginning of the element to the playhead. 

Now you still have to drag it the rest of the way to the end, but it's usually faster than dragging it all the way.

No, log a feature request, did ask this since version 5, but since CP8 we lost shortcut keys, never got new ones. Usability is not a priority apparently. Or the majority of CP-users do not mind, and those preferring shortcut keys over mouse movements/clicks are a small minority. The fact that articles like this one almost get no views at all, is probably due to that change in users? Everything has to be 'intuitive' (crazy word for software) and meant for those who don't dare to let go of that mouse for one moment.
