How to use "Display for rest of project"?

I am trying to have a button that shows and hides a text entry box displayed for the rest of the project. I have the box checked in the Timings tab, but it does not work when I preview the project. Does anyone know what the issue is or can share a good resource library?

    It is NOT possible to time a Text Entry Box for the rest of the project.  Answered same recently, not sure it was also your question. The only interactive objects which can be timed for the rest of the project are:

    1. Shapes used as buttons, filles with whatever you want
    2. SVG used as button
    3. Bitmap image used as button.
