I suppose it depends on exactly what you mean when you say "trigger an object". If you mean to show a hidden object, with advanced actions it's easy. Just create an action that would first begin playing the audio then reveal the object.

If "trigger an object" means something other than to show it, please post back with what that means to you.

I did not see this in Rick's answers, just want to know if you are using

CP9 or earlier version? Default behavior of a simple action is that project

will continue to play even when button has pausing point. An advanced or

shared action will not release the playhead unless you add the command

Continue.

I don't think you did. We already had audio on the slide, we needed the button to trigger new audio - so your solution worked. Hopefully, you can help me with my other issue, found here: Is it possible to allow an open ended response and have a multiple choice quiz on the same slide?
