Is there a way to control the position of the CC text area on the screen?

I am creating a course with a custom playbar; therefore I have turned off the 'Show Playback Control' in the Skin Editor:

I am manually controlling the Closed Captions with a custom CC button with Advanced Actions:

The custom CC button and playbar works fine until the Closed Captions are turned on:

The Closed Captions cover up my custom playbar. Is there a way to control the  position of the CC text area on the screen? I would like to move it up so it does not cover my playbar.
