Localisation: voice timing and text animation
Hello everybody
I'm interested to know: how do you set up your module for different languages (Voice-over) and text/images animations in Adobe Captivate (Release 2017).
For example:
You've got a slide with five bullet points. If the trainer speaks about the first point, this bullet point (text) will fade in. After a while, he's speaking about the second bullet point and the matching text will fade in. And so on… Until all five bullet points have appeared.
Everything is now translated by a professional agency e.g. in Japanese and you get back all written text and the Japanese trainer voice as a MP3.
But unfortunately you don't speak Japanese!
How do you make sure that the timing is still right?
The Japanese voice can be much shorter or longer. Maybe the word order changes and the first point should be displayed 10 seconds earlier.
Actually, I wanted to record each bullet point individually. Then I would have the certainty that the text (bullet point fade in) and the voice fit together.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to use multiple audio tracks in a slide (Timeline) in Captivate.
How do you solve this problem?
Thank you for the help and best regards.
