missing previous buttion

During project playback in Captivate 8, any slide with embedded video will display both the "Previous" and the "Next" button. With any non-video embedded slide I can only see the "Next" button during project playback. How do I fix this to get both buttons to display every time?

    Are these custom navigation buttons or buttons on the playbar?

    You don't happen to have the video embedded using a Learning Interaction by any chance do you? 

    If so, is that learning interaction perhaps covering one of the buttons?  (Learning Interactions may end up on the top layer at runtime.)
