Multi-state text caption - Can I insert hyperlinks?

I have a multi-state text object, and in some of the states I want to insert hyperlinks. This option seems to be disabled when editing multi-state objects. Is this feasible in some manner? My version of Captivate is 2019. Please let me know if further context is needed.

You cannot have an interactive object in a state, and a hypeink is interactive.
