Question

My playbar is showing up ten seconds after the screen loads

Weird little glitch, and only in one project right now. Using current version of Cp 7 on Windows 7 professional, loading to Blackboard LMS. One project (77 slides) is opening fine, but the playbar (loaded as a separate skin - all of them are) is only appearing after the first slide is on screen for ten seconds. Any ideas? we checked all our project publish settings adn the skin editor - all the settings are the same as the rest of the lessons - this is the only one with this issue.

When you click on the button in Captivate, look under timing. Does it have "Appear after ____" set to a different number than the other slides? Have you looked at the timeline?

It's a captivate playbar not a button. Once it shows up it doesn't go

away again. It's even set up as publishing separate from the swf

Problem is, I can't meddle with the configuration of the package - it's one of 15 just for this one module in an 18 module course being developed - and it's the only project file that presents itself this way.

Sounds like the "start a new file" fix.

What happens when you just click on the swf file?

Are you using preloading settings? If, so have you changed them to see if it works better?
