You can use WordPress and add GrassBlade xAPI Companion plugin.

If you want tracking data. You can publish for Tin Can API, and you would need a Learning Record Store.

    Hello,

    Welcome to Adobe Forums.

You can use a learning management system (LMS) to distribute a computer-based tutorial created using Adobe Captivate over the Internet. A learning management system is used to provide, track, and manage web-based training. The project that you upload to the LMS must be compliant with the SCORM, AICC standards, or Tin Can API.If you do not want to use a Learning Management System (LMS) for tracking the quiz scores, Adobe Captivate provides you with alternate reporting options. You can now choose an internal web server as your reporting servers.

    Regards,

    Rajeev.

I have the same question, however the response above did not answer it for me. We have an LMS (Digital Ignite) which integrates with our video hosting platform Brightcove. Currently, Brightcove hosts our non-interactive videos. We are looking to create interactive courses using Adobe Captivate but have been told that Brightcove does not integrate with Adobe Captivate, although it can support HTML5 files, which would be our output. Is there a difference between the HTML5 files produced with Adobe Captivate compared to another authoring software? We need a host to store our HTML5 courses without losing the interactivity and cannot store them on our internal servers. What are the hosting options - not an LMS - for Captivate courses? Thanks.

    Hi folks

If all you want to do is provide interactivity, there is really nothing "special" about Captivate content that would warrant any sort of special "hosting platform". You choose to either produce Flash (SWF) output, or HTML 5 output. Any web hosting platform should do.

The question to ask here is are you wanting to keep track of who used the content and how well they may have scored with quizzing. If none of that is in the picture, the above applies, But if you need to track information, you need to consider using a LMS of some sort.

Does this make better sense? Rick
