Playbar functions disabled in Captivate 9 projects with pretests

Is there any way to get back full functionality of the playbar in Captivate 9 projects that include pretests? For some reason, most playbar options are grayed out whenever I have a pretest. Here's a screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/tHEhJHeQ

No workaround: both Pretest slides and Branch Aware functionality will disable navigation. That has been posted multiple times on this forum.

To have navigation back, you'll have to omit using those features. Replace the Pretest slides by custom created quiz slides, using standard objects, widgets, variables and advanced actions. That work flow in case you do have a real scored quiz in the same course.
