Presenter 8 multiple choice quiz problem: not allowing selection of correct answer

We have a project built in Presenter 8 that has a Quiz with multiple choice items. But when published, when users select an answer choice, the choice they clicked on does not get marked as selected. Instead, the last choice is marked as selected. Every question has this problem. Is there a way to fix this, other than deleting the quiz and re-creating it from scratch?
