Quiz Settings: Must select an answer

I would like to set up a quiz in Captivate 8 so that learners must select an answer (correct or incorrect) in order to proceed to the next question. Could someone please provide the steps/ quiz parameters for this setting? Here are my current settings:

Your setting for Required, on Quiz level, has nothing to do with your question but could cause issues.

You don't want to have question skipped, if I understand you correctly?

  • Do not show the Next button which is meant to skip during the quiz. You'll need that Next button during Review, but you can drag it under the Clear button. More info: Question Question Slides in Captivate - Captivate blog
  • Check the option 'Hide Playbar during Quiz' in Quiz preferences or the user will be able to drag the progress bar and skip as many questions as he likes.
