Responsive projects - jumps to top of page when scrolling on IOS

I have a responsive project with navigation buttons at the bottom of each slide. On smaller devices, the user needs to scroll a little bit to see the buttons. However when you try to scroll down or even tap the buttons, more often than not, Safari will jump you to the top of that same page for some reason. It makes it very frustrating trying to tap the next button on each slide. I can't figure out a way to prevent this from happening.
