Saving 2017 files to open in version 9

Hi.

I currently have 2 versions of Captivate.  V9 and v2017.  I'd like to know how to save files in 2017 to work on version 9.

I don't have an issue with opening v9 files in 2017.

Is 2017 backward compatible?

Not possible. You can open a CP9 file in CP2017 but not the reverse.

Captivate is BACKWARD compatible (because later versions can open earlier versions) but not FORWARD compatible (because earlier versions cannot open files from later versions).

Thank you.  Just wondered if there was an option to Save As for a previous version, like MS Office products that give you the option to save as a prev version.

But you've answered my question.  Much appreciated.
