Scoring odd number of quiz questions

Hi everyone,

I'm building a quiz in Captivate 9 using the built in quiz feature. My quiz is all multiple choice and has 13 questions. I'm confused on how to assign each question the correct number of points so if the user gets them all right they'll get a 100. I can't assign the points field with a decimal number, yet I want all the questions to be weighted the same.

Is there a way to do this using the built in features?

Thanks!

Is there any reason why the percentage (cpInfoPercentage), which is calculated from the total score (cpQuizInfoPointsscored) and the maximum score (cpQuizInfoTotalQuizPoints) is not OK? That way all question slides can have the same score.

Thank you for responding! I'm afraid I don't know how to set those. What I was doing was going into each question on the Quiz tab and trying to set the actual points each question is worth.

You don't have to set it at all, that percentage is calculated automatically and appears on the score slide, it is labeled Accuracy but is calculated as any percentage. That percentage is alway referring to 100%.

I don't understand what your problem is. Do you have to transfer to a LMS? Some LMS's have issues with a score (in points) that is higher than 100points. I would recommend to give a score of 5 points to each question, which results in a maximum score of 65 points, but the percentage will be calculated correctly. Have some reading:
