SCORM 1.2 Package in Moodle Not Playing Video

This is in regards to the new Adobe Captivate (called Charm I guess?).  I finally was able to complete a project build.  I zipped it to a SCORM 1.2 package and uploaded the files to a Moodle course.  This is a paid Moodle version by the way.

Everything built into my Captivate project seemed to work--weeks ago.  Now the video features are non-functioning--though all other interactive components are running smoothly.  This includes both the events video and a multi-slide synchronized video.  A black box appears over the events video (see below) and the playback skin is inoperable.

And the 'play' and 'pause' buttons that I coded to start and pause the timeline (and pause and start the slide video) also no longer function properly (see above).  All of this works within the 'Preview' mode via Adobe Captivate.  And these features did function in Moodle weeks ago.  Now granted, I made some changes to the original project--aesthetically.  Like changing the background for some slides, the color of a button, etc.  But, again, all the interactive components (including video) still work within the 'Preview' mode.  Just no longer in Moodle.

I am beyond stumped.  Does anyone have experience with Moodle as their LMS and multiple Captivate projects uploaded to one Moodle course?  My intuition keeps pulling me towards storage capacity.  Even zipped, these SCORM packages are massive and our L&D plan is for the Moodle course to run at least 10 episodes (20 SCORM packages in total).  Maybe this isn't even viable?

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance you may offer in this matter.  Our IT is contacting Moodle to explore the ADMIN-side of things.  I'm reaching out to all of you wonderful folks to cover the Captivate side of things.  Thanks!

I am having the same problem with scorms that only have a video on them created in Storyline. The search bar is there, but when you click on it, the video restarts instead of going to the place is supposed to go. It worked a week ago and now it started to do this.

I am experiencing this with a SCORM 1.2  in a paid version of Moodle as well. Simple updates were made to the project after successful beta testing and on reloading NONE of the videos open.
beyind frustrating as these slides were not even touched when I made the simple changes. Saved with new file name etc to prevent moodle cached projects from causing issues.
Hoping Adobe can give an answer for why this is occurring.

I've been working with Moodle support regarding this @cathyd5843052 .  Though very slowly and painfully.  Can't believe I posted this issue in February.  Ha!  Time sure does fly by when other glitchy issues arise.

I still can't get the events videos to work on my end; the timeline videos work for the first 3 slides (with the 'Play/Pause' buttons) but then don't function for the final two.  This is when I am uploading my SCORM 1.2 packages to Moodle.  Moodle Support cannot explain this other than during the upload of the SCORM package, some of the video files just don't make it to the Moodle server.  Huh?  When I have shared my original SCORM packages with Moodle Support, they are able to insert it into my Moodle course successfully.  No video issues.  I know this is not optimum; it's what I have available until I can access another LMS platform (like Blackboard) to test out if it's a Moodle-thang or an Adobe Captivate-thang.

FYI, for anyone reading and following this.  The paid Moodle version was updated a while back (couple months ago).  In the older version, all formatting stayed the same within a SCORM Captivate project, both if the SCORM package is opened in the 'current window' or a pop-up 'new window.'  Now, unfortunately, all time and effort spent formatting an Adobe Captivate project to meet your client's aesthetics is not maintained in the 'current window' option.  Only when the SCORM package is opened within a 'new window.'  At least that's what I've been experiencing.  Yay.

Just wondering if you tested  the output in SCORM Cloud, which is the standard? Do you have the same problems in that platform?

Adding one more variable to the equation.  Is this perhaps a SCORM 1.2 versus SCORM 2004 issue? Maybe there are too many layers and interactive components within my Captivate project that would generate a 'glitchy' SCORM 1.2 package?  Perhaps what I am asking from my LMS will only function as a SCORM 2004 package?  Sadly, it appears that Moodle does not support SCORM 2004.  Though, I do see a Moodle plug-in option.  Thoughts?  Insight?

No, Moodle doesn't support 2004. You could test if this is at the origin of your problem by hiding a big part of the slides, publish and check that smaller version.
