Slide Video With Overhang When Transitioning To Next Slide

My issue in question relates to a slide video.  I have it built with play/pause buttons included, that play and pause the timeline (and the video).  I also have some bookmarks inserted to loop the video to the beginning, if the user remains on the slide.  And there is a radio group/multiple choice interactive component, with Submit button, that the user has to select in order to move forward.  This project has multiples of these slide videos; when the user answers the multiple choice question and clicks the Submit button, during the transition from one video slide to the next (Slide A to Slide B), for a few brief seconds the Slide A video plays (like an overhang) while transitioning to Slide B.  I have tried to program some actions to occur when the Submit button is pressed (re: Stop media and Pause Timeline).  Neither action stops this 'overhang' from occurring.

For context, I am working in the new Captivate (version 12.2) program.  I haven't upgraded to the more recent versions because the project I am working on is so massive and I experienced buggy issues before when upgrading.  I'm holding off as long as I can with this concern in mind.
