Student inputting information and having it go to web

Is it possible to create a field where a student can input data and have that data go to, for example, post a topic on a web forum?

Captivate doesn't have any default functionality to do what you describe but almost anything is possible if you are clever enough with JavaScript.  Though I would suspect that your students would also need to be already logged into the 'web forum' before they would be allowed to post anything.  So you might have quite a complex task to pull everything off in one go from a Captivate module.
