Is it possible to play just the flash file (.swf) from the published zipped folder?

I have this problem with another twist. when I attempt to unzip it thinks a file is password protected. None of them are, there is even a column in the window "Has a password" and no is listed for all files.

I can't drap and drop as it. Doesn't appear to work and I can't unzip. Why does it think there is a password? I also checked the preferences and there is no password. Can anyone help?

Welcome to our community, EtoliaB

Just to confirm, you are talking about a zipped Captivate here, no? You didn't specifically say you were trying to open a Captivate. Just that you were trying to get at something inside a zipped file.

Please clarify that and we will try to assist.

Sincerely... Rick

Should be if

a, you take it out of the zip folder **
b, you have a file association on your machine that allows you to run swf
directly. If not, you should be able to drag the swf onto an open Internet
Explorer window.

** You cannot usually 'play' many file types whilst they are still within a
zip folder.
