User exits course during quiz, when they reload, quiz sticks and they can't click submit

Hi all

I am using CP8 and Luminosity LMS.  When a user runs a course, if they exit whilst in the quiz then reload, they get the message about picking up where they left off, which gives the option of OK or Cancel.  Regardless of which one they click it takes the user to the quiz slide they were on but the Submit button doesn't work and they can't move forward or continue to the end of the test.

The only thing I can do is mark the course as not attempted in the LMS which resets it.

Is there something I have missed in reporting set up that is causing this?

Many, many thanks for any help with this.

Best wishes

Janet

Check your Quiz > Settings > Required drop down.  If it's set to anything other than Optional, change it.

    Hi Rod

Brilliant, thank you.  I also found that by selecting Never Send Resume Data, it seems to reset everything.  All is working fab now.  Thank you so much for you really speedy reply.  You've helped me before, so many thanks again.

Could I be really cheeky as you are helping me again.  I've got another issue on here that I posted earlier about a 400 error problem communicating with the learning record store.  I can't find any information on this anywhere, or none that I can undertand anyway.

    Many thanks

    Janet

I saw that thread but to be honest I haven't had a single client so far that was interested in using Tin Can.  So there's no great advice I can give you about that until I get an opportunity to get more hands on.
