Using MS Paint to edit background image in Captivate - not available in windows 11

Hello Community,

The option to edit background images in a simulation with mspaint.exe was available in windows 10. However, in Windows 11, it does not take mspaint.exe.
Steps: Right-click on slide > Find background > Right-click on background > Edit with > Open (here mspaint.exe used to work, not it doesn't seem to).

Please advise if there an option to resolve it. Thank you.

Which version of Captivate are you using? Only 11.8.1 is compatible with Win 11.

Hmm... I am using 11.5.1.499 on Win 11 and it is working just fine for me.
Just in general - that is - I don't know about the MS Paint thing - never tried doing such a thing.

You have to tell that you are replacing a lot of Captivate's features by JS, which means you are not a normal user. Did you ever create a software simulation and use the Edit functionality for the Backgrounds folder in the Library? I use that a lot, but with Photoshop of course, not with Paint. BTW why not 11.5.5.553? I found your version rather buggy, but that may be due to the same difference in our workflows with Captivate.
