I just discovered Prezi, and it seems really cool.  I was wondering if it is possible to build a Captivate project within Prezi or a Prezi project within Captivate?  Has anyone succussfully combined the two?

I see that price is being one of the most frequently used tools every day, and it is encouraging me to be able to be able to have the best presentation in my work.

I've just purchased both products and have the same question. It looks like this is a very old post. Has anyone figured this out with the newest versions of both softwares? Thanks!

This thread is pretty long in the tooth.

Now that Captivate has what is called a "Web Object", you might find that you can run the Prezi by using the Web Object.

I managed to record using a Prezi executable file scaled to fit within the recording frame of Captivate. Even recording at Full Motion, the effect is choppy. I don't think I'm going to use it. Interesting experiment, though.

I have actually been trying to do this for the past week or so and I have only one solution for you. Since you can't really download a usable prezi file to import, and screen recording doesn't give you the framerates you need to keep up with prezi, the best way to do it is with the web page widget.

If you go to the Adobe Exchange, you can find the Web Page Widget. Download it and make it available with your other widgets.

Upon bringing it into the project, go to your Prezi and get the "view together" link. Put that link in as the Web Page source. Size it as you wish, and then make sure the name you give the widget matches the widget properties.

Although this means that the user will have to manually operate the Prezi, I have not found any other option unless you want to purchas Camtasia and record your screen that way.

    Hi there

As near as I can tell, the Prezi folks recommend using Camtasia to record a Prezi that plays so that you can have it in a Flash SWF or other format.

Click here for more on that

Additionally, Prezi seems to offer an ability to download an EXE version for portability. My thought here is that maybe different results would be obtained using the EXE instead of viewing on the web.
