Using "likert" question

Hello,

I'm creating e-learning with Captivate version 9 and I would like to use the "likert" feature for quiz. But I can't use it with my session. How can I unblock this feature ? Or can I use another tool to evaluate learner practicals ? I also would like to give an appropriate answer to each learner depending on their answers.

Thank you for your help

Indeed, responsive projects do not support Likert questions.

I would recommend to use the radiobuttons interaction, because that way you already have functional radiobuttons. That interaction can be used vertically and horizontallly. You can associate a user variable that will store the chosen option.

AFAIK Likert questions are never scored, do not know what Rick means by 'scoring' in this case. If you tell what you want to do with the result? Some LMS's can get and report the user variables from Captivate, but not all of them.

All I meant by "scoring" is that it's a convenient term to illustrate a way to track which option was selected.

OK, Rick, I found that word confusing, but I'm not an American.

    Hi there

What do you mean when you say you can't use it with your session? Is it unavailable to be inserted or what? What exactly are you seeing?

In fact, I am working on a responsive project... And I just saw that "likert" can't be use in a responsive project...

So I am looking for a solution to achieve a learner survey and provide clarification based on their answers.

    Thanks,

    Laurence

In this case I believe your only real option is to create a "home grown" solution where you create a basic slide with the elements that make it appear to be a likert. I might imagine you could use Click Boxes or Buttons or Smart Shapes configured as buttons to record the responses. You would then use Advanced Actions to provide the manipulation of the scoring and the feedback or whatever.

    Cheers... Rick
