Where to find the radio button widget?

I don´t seem to be able to find the radio button widget by going to "insert, widget" and then select. Where do I find it in CP9?

Try the Big Button Interactions, Learning interactions.

But I think that gives me the same options as the other way.

I am counting 30 interactions in that menu but seem to be missing that one...
Is that correct?

I am on the German version though but the widgets all have English names.

I also have looked in my desktop trash can because you never know...

Any idea?

I see. This list is normally a copy of the original list. Could you have a look at that original list which is in the subfolder Interactions, under the Gallery in the installation folder of Captivate. If you see it there, you can copy it to the Public Documents. On Windows this is the path: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe\eLearning Assets\Interactions_9_0

Both insert widgets and the Learning Interactions dialog box point to the public folder.

Thanks a lot. I did find a widget with the ending radiobutton.wdgt_bkp2

I did delete the _bkp2 and it appeared in the list. Will it work like that now or is it broken?

Is this connected to the hotfix?

What do you think?

As I am starting a new (and my first) project I´d be better off to not import a CP8 file and update it but start from scratch.

Anyway, the buttons seem to be working!

The files with 'bkp..' appear only in the Public folder, point to older versions (look at the date). Learning interactions have regularly updates pushed to them. Maybe the latest version (without bpk) disappeared, and since you deleted the older one, the version from the Gallery in the installation folder was copied back. I'm not sure it is the latest version however.

I wouldn't want an old widget to mess up my project...

Normally it should be pushed to you. Are you behind a firewall perhaps?

You can check this: can you control what is visible by changing the variable using an (advanced) action? That was added in one of the latest versions

The latest version I found was in the same folder but for C:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe\eLearning Assets\Interactions_8_0! In other words the prior version.

This one is from Sept. 14, 2015.

Is that the one?
