Hello,

 

Is it possible to add a backdrop image, to the presenter video?  Using a static JPG/PNG image.

 

This is possible in Teams meetings, so just wondered if similar functionality existed in Connect?

    Yes, this functionality is available in Connect 12.2 if the Enhanced Audio and Video setting is enabled. If the room is running in Standard mode, then it won't be available.

     

    I know that's probably not as clear of an answer as you were looking for, but there are options for a meeting in Connect 12. Standard mode (which is the older version of Connect) and Enhanced Audio/Video (the newer version). The video background option is only available with the Enhanced Audio/Video mode. If you don't see it you may need to ask the Host of the meeting to change it to this mode. The meeting will likely need to be ended and restarted for this change to take effect.

    Per the documentation the uploading of your own background is not yet a part of Connect as of version 12.2.

    VIRTUAL VIDEO BACKGROUND (BETA)

    • Users will be able to select a virtual video background from the Entry screen or from within the room (if they have camera rights). 
    • Users will be able to blur their background or use one of the 9 preset images as their background.
    • This feature is available for the users joining from either the desktop applications or from one of the supported desktop browsers.

     

    This will likely change with a future release of Adobe Connect.

    This applies to all users. The functionality is equal for any user who has the rights to share their camera.

    OK, sorry to be slow here.  But are you saying the functionality is now available?  Or will be available with the next software update?  Thanks
