Power Point Slide advance not working in standard view

Standard view no longer allows slides imported as power point or as adobe presenter files to be advanced with either the left right arrow keys or with a slide remote.  The issue can be resolved by switching back to classic view, however, that option will no longer be available once the mandated transition to standard view is complete in the summer of 2021.  

Please restore this basic function to the share pod.
