Adobe Connect: PowerPoint Slide Not Showing

Hi

I am a virtual training facilitator using Adobe Connect 9.

For the last couple of weeks, I have had some participants claiming they couldn't see a PowerPoint slide I was sharing.

The session starts with PowerPoint slides, and they didn't have any problem viewing it at the beginning. Seems like it always happens AFTER I finish sharing my desktop and coming back to the ppt slide in the middle of the session. They just saw a black loading screen.

So far the problem was solved by participants and/or myself logging back into the session.

I have been doing the session for about a year using the same computer(Windows 10), but this never happened before. Just for the last couple of weeks.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Dear Jazzmeg:

Sorry because I did not see your question before.

There are other times that Connect has problems with ppt or pptx docs.

Sometimes can be a bug (like this time) but other it also depends of the name of the file (be sure not to have a very long name or characters like /, - , etc.

My best regards.

I had a chat with an Adobe agent and found out that the problem I mentioned above about ppt slide not loading on participants' computer has been a bug of Adobe Connect for the last few days. This is affecting some regions including U.S.A.  So if you encounter the same problem, I suggest either you or your participant leave the room and log back in. Adobe is working on the issue right now.
