p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

    A couple of months ago, the CreativeCloud desktop app showed me I had the option to install AE 25, even though it told me my machine wasn't able to be updated to AE25. 

    Last week, the CC app - which i only sporadically visit (and this visit was because of a question on reddit about Sonoma and AE 25) - stopped showing any availability of AE 25. But it did show that i have access to AE 23.6.2, which had disappeared quite some time ago, when 24 and 25 were the only 'supported' versions. It also showed I have access to Media Encoder 15.2...

    Seems like there is some bug that I am encountering. Reddit user/Adobe bod "NLE_Ninja85" has been kind enough to spend some time attempting to puzzle this out, but suggested i add this as a bug report, so here I am

    I will add that if i click on 'other versions' under the AE 24.6.2 box in the "apps" tab, it will show 25/25.0.1/25.1/25.2 and 25.2.2 are available.

    I ran a repair from the 'uninstaller', but got the same results in the desktop app. When i tried to run the unistaller,  I got the other error ("Screenshot 2025-05-12 at 11.23.58 AM")

    I'd appreciate any help. I'm having trouble opening projects in AE since trying this uninstall process - i have to resort from opening AE from the CC desktop and then (hope that) existing projects will open
