Creative Cloud Desktop Crashes My Laptop

I have a 7 month old Windows 11 laptop. I was having odd blue screen reboots several times per day. One of the more recent updates to CC failed. I couldn't figure out what was doing this until this happened. The PC ran for days until I needed to restart it. After the restsrt, CC updated properly and the crashes started again. To be clear, this happened without opening my 'actual apps'. I could run Photoshop just fine. So, I uninstalled it all and say goodbye. I see that tons of folks are having this issue and there is simply no excuse for 95% of what is in Creative Clound desktop. I don't want your foggy 'cloud'. How about a simply download and install for my apps? Check my licensing from inside the app. There must be a hook there already? This is rediculous. A friggin installer that totally crashes our the Operating System?

I'm done. No response needed. This is just a report.

This machine is devoted to CNC work (3d printer, router and laser). At the moment I am very behind. I have already uninstalled the Adobe products from that system and really don't wish to devote more time to it. I wanted to report it. I made this discovery 2 or 3 weeks ago. Quite simply the machine quit bluesceening for a moment before restarting maybe 3 or 4 times on some days. Sometimes it rebooted before starting any programs other than startup. I have only customized the registry entry to stop automatic Windows updates. I do them manually when the system is not busy. The CNC softwares are very basic... don't have anything in startup and they never load any machine I've run from including a 15 or 20 year old laptop.

I wanted Photoshop just to do quick edits. It really isn't that important on that machine. Gimp works fine for those needs.

I do very much respect that you replied, but unfortunately I nor that machine have any hours to give. I understand the importance of logs but I just don't have time. I simply wanted Adobe to know this is a real problem.

Hi @ew3d , could you generate a log file and share the file name so we can investigate what's causing the crash? Instructions on collecting and uploading the log file are available at https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html
