Hi there,
until recently, the work arounds allowed me to get onto Muse to make updates to my web page.
It appears that there has been an update that has foiled this ..... or I just need some help from people WAY more clued in than I am !
I have followed the past advice, to go into task manager and shut down all the Adobe processes .... done.
Gone off line to open Muse ..... Done
In the past, this worked and I was able to make the website updates thatI needed .
But in the last week I had some more updates to the website and this work around no longer allowed me access to Muse .
I tried the other work around of renaming the ICP boker file with "2" at the end (I can't seem to change the file to have a "~" in the .exe command anymore (as that was one solution offered to change the .exe to .e~e) .
Now .... this comes up .... and I can't access Muse -
ANYONE able to offer a solution would be incredibly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi
@DK.Hawkins,
Thanks for your patience. I found this article, please take a look and see if that helps- https://adobe.ly/4fZQU1q

thank you there, but sadly it doesn't 😞
The article is old and does the usual "set you Creative cloud to access older apps and you should be fine" as well as suggesting creating a page with ADobe Express ... which doesn't help as my site is designed and powered with Muse.
Thank you for trying, all the same.
Here's the rub -
All my other apps work, but since the last updates on Creative Cloud and Windows, the previous work around seems to have been blocked by Adobe .
I could turn off adobe processes , disconnect from the net and Muse would open up ...... then I could do whatever updates I needed to do on my business site (being an independent and small business owner, being able to do all that myself was a GODSEND!!) .
But now, Adobe appears to have blocked that and a loop has been put into Adobe that it wants me to confirm my subscription and refuses to open Muse .... EVEN when offline, not even connected to the net 😞

for some time, the fix of stopping all Adobe processes, taking the computer off line, then clicking on Muse worked.
This was the fix that worked for a LONG time when Creative Cloud suddenly stopped allowing Muse to open.
Recently, that stopped working .
I tried removing the exe file as recommened that tell Adobe to do the authentication routine (Pc Broker i believe) .
This also didn;t work .
The image file I uploaded on the top of the thread still kept on coming up.
Some of the other fixes on past threads about this also don't seem to work (especially with the latest update to Winblows ... yes, I'm a PC user and a dedicated one, but in this case, it really is Winblows!)
Why Adobe refuses to allow people to still access this I have no idea.
Yeah sure, okay, there's no more updates or tech support, but there are SO MANY of us out here who used Muse for one and have been loyal Adobe clients for years .... and this is the level of support and loyalty that we have in return.
It's frustrating!!
Sorry !
But yeah, I've tried a number of the fixes, and the ones that were suggested on previous threads, I was hoping that others had found a way around the same problem that I'm having 😞

even if it was just a windows update i would expect a lot more people mentioning the problem and am not seeing that. eg, when a muse problem was first noted last december a new poster would add their name to the list of people having problems each day for months. (https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services-discussions/muse-not-running-after-creative-c...)
i haven't seen anyone post about a current problem since your post 2 weeks ago. anyway, you might try addressing @DaveH5 at that thread. he seems to be the most knowledgeable person about the must problems.

i saw your post (and took the liberty to edit it to flag dave). hope he can help, though from his recent postings it doesn't look like anything's change (for him) and his muse is still working.
