Error 404: Asset not found

Community Beginner ,
Jan 29, 2021 Jan 29, 2021

I created a library and I am trying to share it with my team. When my team clicks the link or if I try to view my library on the web, it leads me to a page that says "Error 404: Asset not found." How do I get this library to show up and be sharable? The same issue happens when I try this using Ps, Id, and Ai.

Although the link takes you to a dead-end, apparently the Library is still shared. The solution we found was this:

The person I shared the Library with goes to their notifications inside of their Adobe account and accepts the shared Library. In this case I was sharing with someone that uses Adobe Express.

November 2024 and also experiencing this issue of a shared library not being accessible and being presented with the "Error 404: Asset not found." message.

have the link creator test their link

if they can connect, try a different browser.

It's not the browser that's the issue. This happens directly within the apps, as well. That is the most frustrating part. People are paying $60 per month for software that has major features that aren't sufficiently tested by Adobe's QC department.

Oktober 2025:

I've also been having this problem since today. I want to share a link from Illustrator with a customer who doesn't have an Adobe account. Both I and the customer are getting the error “Error 404: Asset not found.”

I checked older share links; none of them work anymore either. What can I do? I urgently need to get customer feedback.

This solution isn't viable in this situation.

I'm sharing a whole illustrator file by the review link to non Adobe users. Not a library.
I've tried sharing with myself via email. It does not help.
I've updated illustrator. Still no fix.

Yes same here, none of my share links are working. I'm getting the feeling this is a global outage not a localised one.

I'm having the same issues which all started yesterday. Tried restarting the software as well as computer itself but no luck. There's no option to click on the notification icon as previously suggested in the answer
