I have an Imac 21.5" late 2015 but on my Adobe Cloud I can only find a version of Illustrator from 2021,
why can't I get an earlier one? Years ago there were also 2017, 18, 19...
Can anyone tell me something? Thank you very much!

1. you can install the latest and 1 version prior versions using the cc desktop app. you must have a subscription because previous versions are not available with trials. other versions are revealed after clicking file preferences>apps>tick show older apps (at panel bottom).
2. for versions cc 2019 and older, use prodesign tools.com*.
3. for versions newer than cc 2019 but older than one previous version, contact adobe support for links.**

* most (but not all) adobe download links are available from prodesigntools.com. https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-direct-download-links.html
follow the directions (esp, step 1)
save the install file. it may not remain online.

** there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
phone:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam,

thanks now I look at everything but I already see that on pro design tools it asks me
to buy but I have a subscription! Or is the subscription only valid for the latest version and a previous one,
so if I have 2023 and want 2017, do I have to buy it?

your subscription is valid for all versions, current and all past. (support is for only the two most current.)
prodesigntools won't ask for any money. if you downloaded from prodesigntools and successfully installed and then are asked to subscribe that's an erroneous request from adobe, if you have a current subscription. in that situation:
start here - https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/stop-creative-cloud-trial-mode-after-purchase.html
if that fails, proceed to these steps - https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/resolve-trial-and-license-expired-errors.html
if that fails, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/adobe-license-issues-keychain-credential-mgr.html

yes, in fact I had to put the email and password back to download for example photoshop 2017
and I don't understand why you have to do this when it was easier to have them in the lcoud since
I'm a subscriber and not only old but recent versions.
Because for a moment I can think it's a virus or a fraud because
I already have the account and it asks me for my email and password after
I downloaded from passdesigntoll, I did it anyway and if this is the way I'll do it.

prodesigntools.com's links connect to adobe.com and to download from adobe.com you must be signed in to adobe.com (hence prodesigntools step 1 instruction).
