Will Webp image format be accepted in Adobe Portfolio?

Was just wondering if the image format for webp will be allowed as a file type to upload?

Shame really, as the images are better quality and smaller in size for page loads..

This 2 year old page lists the accepted file formats. No webp though.

yeah, I have... this was to put it out there, and maybe they will update it so it will be allowed?

there's no designated place for potfolio suggestions, but you can make this request in the cc desktop ideas. forum.
