Please, could someone tell me if Adobe CC 2017 works without any problem in an Apple iMac running MacOS Ventura?

Thanks

ventura is problematic even with some current adobe versions, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/macos-ventura-compatability-common-issues.html

but you should be able to start installation and probably complete installation.

What is the reason you need to use CC 2017?  Do you have a plugin or something that is incompatible with the newer CC releases?

No it won't work. As per Apple, Catalina onwards 32 bit applications are not supported and as per Adobe the applications till 2019 or so had 32 bit components.

@kglad I had read a post on the forums that even 64 bit versions of the applications prior to CC2019 had some 32 bit dependencies, something related to licensing support. I will update if I find those posts.

One such link is given below, it says that CC2018 and earlier do have 32 bit connections.

CC2017 was available in both 32 and 64 bit.

If you want to run old versions of CC on Mac, keep an old Mac. Perhaps use dual boot if you must also sometimes use a current system. Make no mistake: it was Apple who decided to block ALL old software (pre 2019). Sometimes old software keeps running, but it can't be installed.

What this guy said apple just wants its users to upgrade to a new mac no matter how fast or good your mac is it cant run things due to apple blocking them and forcing you to upgrade your 10k dollar system to run photoshop lol now if you run an older os then install it and upgrade your os to ventura it may still run but it wont let you run the installer. Its like this with many applications can install and upgrade the os and it will still run but a clen insdtall and your toast .
