Adobe on Linux is it possible?

This is my first post.

Can someone explain me why Adobe does not wan't Linux. I looked at several discussions with request for adobe to support Linux.

But I haven't seen adobe answering any discussion. I would like to know why they don't support Linux.

There is no question if Adobe "wants LINUX" or not. Photoshop was running at the time on Silicon Graphics workstations. The problem is more market penetration. Linux has a stronghold in the server and supercomputer range, Adobe programs are more desktop oriented. Desktop support on Linux is not that great.

Adobe will not comment on this because it's their policy not to comment on speculations on what if situations. Do not dream to colorful, Linux needs to get much more market penetration to have a chance to get considered by Adobe.

The Mac OSX is getting slower with each version. There are serious issues like it taking a full minute just to open a folder in the finder. I've removed Mac OSX off my new iMac and installed Arch linux. The speed difference is astounding. Now I just need the Creative Cloud to be able to natively run on Arch Linux.

Great! But Creative Cloud does not run under (Arch) Linux. And I'm not aware of anyone claiming that Adobe programs run under Linux. The big problem is the critical mass needed for such an operation is not there (yet).

iMac i9 extreme maxed out (64 GB RAM, 16 GB GPU whatever was max) and my Creative Suite is struggling to work smoothly. I just resized some graphics on AI arboard and the thing stuttered. Insane. I still turn on my old Dell workstation (maxed out Xeon, but 12 years old!!) and it's NOT SLOWER. What the heck is this? This is a 6,000 EUR machine, Apple? Sorry, just had to say this, take it or leave it. Thanks.

You have some sort of problem with your computer. I use a 2015 15" Macbook Pro and an M1 mini and both run great without performance problems. This has nothing to do with Adobe or Linux.

because adobe is concerned with only making money, and dont feel they will make any off such users that can more than likely crack their crappy code and get it free . i used to love adobe and the tuts fhey had availiable but anymore their concern is not for the small people who truely cant afford it and teuely want to learn these things..  ive come to the conclusion that honestly there ARE better apps/software out there than adobe will ever be and i left them just like they did us that cant always afford to pay and glad i did cause ive def found much more Superior applications and software and such to what they have

For better or worse, Adobe is a for-profit corporation. Of course they are in it for the money. I lean toward Democratic Socialism ala Bernie Sanders but that's not the world we live in.

Do you have a specific issue or are you just ranting about having to pay for professional tools?
