Hi, all.
Can anyone help me? I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements from Dell a few weeks after purchasing my laptop. I'm trying to install it but for some reason or other when I do it keeps opening up Microsoft Excel, which is only a trial version on my computer. How do I download my software without using Microsoft Excel? THANKS IN ADVANCE for ANY and ALL HELP...

I ended up going directly to the Adobe page and loaded the trial version.
Then, I converted it to the owner's version using the serial number that
Adobe provided me. After that, it was a breeze... ![]()

Since you bought from Dell, I think you need to ask Dell how to download and install from their store

Unfortunately, they want to charge me to tell me HOW to download it.

kglad links in reply #1 here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2596028 to download program installers
I do NOT know if the serial number Dell provided with your purchase will work with a download from Adobe

Wow, that would be a pretty unscrupulous thing to do...

First I've heard of that.
I've bought software from Dell in the past. You login to your Dell account and download. That's it.

That's what I have tried to do but instead of getting a log in for my Adobe
registration number, I get excel. It's really weird.

Would probably help if you spelled out your steps a bit more.
What's the exact file name you're downloading and clicking on.
We're all guessing based on the limited info provided to date.

You're double clicking an .exe file? Not an .xls file?
