I wonder if anyone can advise on a possible solution?
I have a Macbook Pro on OS Sierra 10.12.2, but when trying to install Premier CC 2015 and Auditions CC 2015 from the install file i get error 'installer failed to initialize'
I have looked through this forum for an answer and found- Double click on the Install file 'show package contents'> contents>MacOS>press the install file it goes through the setup asking for passwords etc then it gives you another error message saying 'installer encountered an error' advising to restart computer, stop any anti virus etc, which i have done, but i still get the same error after trying again.
Please can anyone help?
Kind Regards,
Paul
P.S. Thank you all for the help installing Photoshop CC 2015. I though i would try the above programs but I'm getting the same errors!

start at the top and work your way down applying applicable fixes until your problem is resolved.
if cc (win): https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-application-failed.html
if, your error is:
"Installer failed to initialize. File not found." or "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to missing files."
first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
to find OOBE:
64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
32 bit win OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.
if everything applicable above fails, check your installation logs:

I tried these steps when trying to install my previous question about Photoshop and this didnt work.
The previous question i had answered about photoshop the answer was to download the newest version of the software, i noticed that it installed differently? I guess Adobe had sorted this problem out with later version.
Is there a place to download the most recent version of these softwares? I'm having to download on my Windows laptop but its for a Mac. I'm waiting for a new 'Airport' Card!

at this time,
Downloadable installation files available:
Download and installation help for Adobe links
Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages. They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3. If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

check that your downloaded file size matches the expected file size.
if it does, re-download with a different browser. if it does not, re-download.
