Question

Can we only install applications and not the CCFiles folder?

Hello,

I was wondering if it were possible to only install the CC Applications when connecting on a new computer and not have the folder CC files folder automatically adding itself.

This is the problem : I work on an iMac at work and I need the CC Files folder to be active and up to date but I also work on my laptop - MacbookPro which has very limited disk space. I don't need my CC files folder, I just would like to be able to use the applications on that computer.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Have a great day

Cathy

Hi Caty,

You can switch off synchronisation...

with the CC app preferences.

Thanks Abambo,

So if I switch off synchronisation on my iMac and then log in on my laptop, the CC files folder storage won't be installed, right ?

No. You need to switch off synchronisation on the laptop. Install and the first you do after starting the CC app is to disable synchronisation.  After that you can delete the directory that has been created in the meantime. There will be no harm to your iMac.

Thank you so much Abambo :-)) Have a great day!
