Today I signed up for Creative Cloud and have just spent the entire afternoon trying to install Photoshop and Illustrator.
Firstly the application manager wouldn't install but then I downloaded that from a link I found on this forum and that seemed to be OK. But then any apps that I downloaded in it would fail to install.
I have tried downloading the 'try it' downloads direct from Adobe and they won't install. I've tried to install them outside of the CC app manager and I just get the message 'Failed to install' after 2% of the install process.
I have dumped all old CS program files and run the cleaner. Now I get 'Installation canceled' when I try to install something.
I don't know what else to do. I've spent hours searching this forum for solutions and have followed them and still nothing works.
Can anyone shed any light on this? I don't want to have to do a fresh install of my OS if I can help it.
I think perhaps I need a sharing session with Adobe support?
My system is:
Mac OSX 10.73
Intel Core i5

I tried restarting my machine several times to no avail.
However, somehow I just now tried to install (during Connect session), it failed, we viewed the log, restarted and everything is fine.
