Apparently I am one of the people who wasn't aware that catalina doesnt allow me to use my adobe suite 5 package. I work from home as an editor and videographer and now I can't do my job. Thanks adobe and apple. Selling all of my crap to get PC and Avid Pro.

So, if you will be sticking with your ancient CS5 and have no plans to join a Cloud plan to be Catalina-compatible, then downgrade back to Mojave.

Presumably you've still got your CS5 installation media and valid 24 digit serial number.

CS5 is about 8 years old and is no longer supported... Adobe is not going to give you anything

If you want a refund, talk to Apple... or revert to a compatible operating system

Apple has been posting messages for a year warning users

i don't get those emails nor do I look. I'm entirely too busy. They should fix it or give me my money back.

Apple didn't send out e-mails.  But you could scarcely open an older app in Mojave and NOT see the nag screen about 32-bit app support.  And AFAIK, you would have seen a similar pop-up notice when you installed Catalina.  But I guess you didn't pay attention.   Or maybe you didn't think it applied to your system.

At any rate, Adobe didn't change your software to make it stop working.  Apple changed their OS.  You must accept the consequences of upgrading your computer without also upgrading your software.  Eventually, something is going to break down.  Revert to your old OS or start buying new 64-bit software.  It's your choice.
