None of the above means any thing to me.
I just want to get on with using Photoshop CC on my laptop!!
Damien
Finally downloaded Photoshop CC to my laptop.
Decided to restore the computer to 'factory condition' as it was taking such a long time to figure out why it would not install (over 2 weeks since I started!! - see above).
Did not work first time as Adobe Application Manager stopped working.
Then updated Microsoft Windows 7 and followed the instructions set out on 11 July above.
After downloading Application Manger (second time luck) put Adobe Creative Cloud app directly in the C: drive and then it wor

made changes to OOBE
Cannot download CC from the direct link you gave me. Only wat to get CC was by my login and clicking to download Photshop CC.
When I click to install I get message that failed and Errors 1, 44 & 207.
I did not trash Adobe Creative Cloud form: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\ Do you mean delete this file and all the contents?
Should I start again and delete the version of CC that is showing in the Programs in the Control Panel?

No I am getting:
Installer was unable to create critical file/directory. Please try installing again (Error 44).
I tired again and got same message.
I have looked for the Eevent error and the discription is:
Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
This is getting very frustrating as I have been trying for weeks to install CC on my laptop so I can use Photoshop CC for which i have subsribed!

Can you clarify a few issues before I proceed.
1. When i go to command prompt I get C:/Windows/System32> and not just C:\> Does this matter?
2. What does Note : To Disable Hidden Admin account : net user administrator /active:no refer to? Should it be Yes or No?
3. I have older version of Dreamweaver CS5 and Photoshop CS2.
4. You refer to Once you had logged in as Built In admin , Follow below steps :
Does this mean login to the new Admin User I created earlier? (I have 2 user, both Administrators Damien (my original User) and Abbott (new User added).
5. Do I need to bother with "We may need to check with DEP (Data Execution Prevention) setting which is causing error" at this stage?

Before I start should I keep the versions of other Adobe programs I have on my laptop (Photoshop CS, Dreamweaver CS5, Adobe Reader DC & Extension Manager CS5)?

Sure.
You can keep older versions and try .
only as final option , if we needed to perform complete removal , we can go for that.
But there are several steps to resolve the issue , it will be unnecessary to remove older version apps.

As a shareholder in Adobe it is to be hoped that installing Photshop etc will be made easier.
Have installed Dreamweaver CS5, which I had downloaded earlier, without any problem. Realise that Photoshop CC is an online version but it must be possible to avoid the issues I (and I see many others) have experienced??

After cleaning renaming and all that other crap what finally worked for me is I deleted both of oode folders Simple fix to "Creative cloud desktop failed to install" error -SOLVED then restarted in safe mode and installed creative cloud there. It worked.
Also had to uninstall the programs from cloud and reinstall but you may not have to.
Only took 24 hours to figure it out!
