I do remember we used to have a forum dedicated for General Adobe CC issues. I cannot find the forum now.
My question is related to the legacy (older) Creative Cloud applications which we used to get in the desktop menu, see below…
Recently Adobe changed the desktop menu fully, and we're now limited to two older versions only from the desktop menu
We, however, can access yet one other older version from this help page.
I have a large Academic client who has a Certiport Testing Center for their faculty and students to be Adobe Certified Associate. The issue is Certiport system is only compatible with the following versions…
Photoshop 2018 version: 19.1.8
Illustrator 2018 version: 22.1
Premier Pro 2018 version: 12.1.2
Now, the above versions aren't too old, I'm surprised that Adobe would give us a chance to download v.2017, but not 2018?
Any clue where we can get above-shown version?

Zaid_Al_Hilali, good evening.
CC2018 products can still be downloaded from the link below.
https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-apps-download.html
However, it is unconfirmed whether a minor update has been applied, so please try installing it to check it.
* If you are using Team version or Enterprise version, you can also deploy from Admin Console, and it seems that the update has been applied.

Good day Tacafy, thanks for your suggestion which I forwarded already to the client. I didn't hear back from them yet. Much appreciate your assistance.

I've just noticed this issue, of course at a time when I need to install an older version.
Both the links shared here now redirect:

Best,
David

Super link indeed just like David said, it explains a lot about the situation.
I'm posting below an excerpt from the long explanation posted on the site…
UPDATE (Nov. 2019) – The new Creative Cloud 2020 direct download links are now available.
Adobe has just made a big change to the version availability and usage of its creative software products, both for CC and CS applications…
Since the advent of Creative Cloud in 2012, subscribers have been able to use any version of the CC products that has ever been released. Some customers use prior versions due to compatibility with evolving system requirements, or because co-workers have standardized on the same earlier release.
However, effective immediately, Adobe has completely discontinued certain older versions of Creative Cloud apps and as a result, under the terms of the licensing agreement, subscribers are no longer licensed to use them.
Per their recent email, “We ask that you discontinue all usage of the unauthorized products listed in this table, and instead update to the authorized versions provided. You will continue to receive all the value that Creative Cloud has to offer, but with more advanced features and capabilities, critical bug fixes, and security updates. For these reasons we recommend all customers use the latest release of our Creative Cloud applications.”

Which would be fine. If Adobe were reliable enough that the latest versions did everything older versions did without trouble. So explain to me which bright spark at Adobe HQ thoughy removing older stable versions of software we subscribe to monthly was a good idea? Because it cannot have been anyone who ever needed to meet a deadline and had to search around for answers and solutions that would be solved if they could access older versions of sodtware that worked.

1. you can install the latest and 1 version prior versions using the cc desktop app. you must have a subscription because previous versions are not available with trials. other versions are revealed after clicking file preferences>apps>tick show older apps (at panel bottom).
2. for versions cc 2019 and older, use prodesign tools.com*.
3. for versions newer than cc 2019 but older than one previous version, contact adobe support for links.**

* most (but not all) adobe download links are available from prodesigntools.com. https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-direct-download-links.html
follow the directions (esp, step 1)
save the install file. it may not remain online.
thank jim @ prodesigntools.com

** there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
phone:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam,

Good morning.
ProDesignTools.com is a site run by Prodesign, a Community Expert.
As far as whether it is legitimate or not, it has legitimate information from their standpoint, but as far as CC2020 is concerned, I have heard from some people in Japan that they inquired in the same way and did not get a link, so it is just a matter of asking them via chat and seeing what they think.

Is it permissible by adobe creative clouds for using software or only cc2020 from that site?

That site only provides links to downloads from Adobe sites. They only provide the link, not the download. The download comes directly from Adobe, so it is safe to download.

This site does not allow direct download of the 2020 app. It only describes how to get the link to download it directly.
Therefore, it does not mean that you can download it directly from Prodesign.com.
Also, this download link may not be provided due to customer support irregularities.
Once again, this does not mean that you can download directly from this site. It does not mean that you can download directly from this site.
